"We had a lovely time in this beautiful house - there was plenty of living space for the whole group to spread out and we loved having a big group dinner in the grand dining room. The house is old and some niggles are to be expected (minor cobwebs, loose doorknobs, a couple of chipped mugs) and they definitely didn't take away from our love for the place (and shouldn't deter anyone else!)."

"Great house in a convenient location. Lots of space and everything you need for a comfortable stay.We travelled over from Canada and drove straight up from Heathrow. When we arrived, the host had left enough food for our breakfast the following morning as well as milk and tea for us. Couldn’t ask for anything better after 15 hours of travel."

"This is a great place to go chill for a while, with many fun areas to hang out. They have it stocked with games of all types. It’s also located within an easy drive to many wonderful sightseeing areas—Snowdonia, Conwy, Chester are all within an hour. The host was very responsive and friendly. Would love to go back. "

"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. "My friends and I stayed for two nights for my friends mini hen do. Suzy decorated the place for us and wrote a card for my friend which was so lovely and she absolutely loved it! Couldn’t have asked for a better place! So clean and tidy, loads of room and decorated amazingly. We were taking photos as inspo!
