"What a find base camp Snowdonia was. Very easy entry and check-in, as we arrived late and it was dark. The bedroom was very clean and the individual bunks with curtains made it very private, even though we were sharing. The whole place was very secure."

"Great property. Perfect size for 20 adults. Tons of kitchen equipment and a huge range/oven. The lounge is comfy , loads of books and games. Bunks were clean and comfy too. Loads of outdoor space and an extra field/ toilets/ showers to hire for more campers •Bring wood or charcoal for the pizza oven. "We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. "
