Although urgent improvements on the ventilation is needed as when different people come in, the room kind of smells not due to cleanliness but coz of different kind of people who may come in. So this could be potentially improved. But certainly recommended for solo travellers."

"As an over hundred year old building, I think its condition is good enough. It is closed to Liverpool Central but on a quiet street. Suitable for weekend visit. People are friendly and helpful. I can tell some of the roommate stay there for long. They are working in the hostel and interact like family. However, as there is only one public toilet, it is difficult to manage cleanness. Luckily, their shower is not bad. I put a bit lower rate on eco-friendly because the shower cannot completely...

"Great property. Perfect size for 20 adults. Tons of kitchen equipment and a huge range/oven. The lounge is comfy , loads of books and games. Bunks were clean and comfy too. Loads of outdoor space and an extra field/ toilets/ showers to hire for more campers •Bring wood or charcoal for the pizza oven. "The hostel is in a really convenient part of Llangollen and is a lovely house with great additional facilities, like a kitchen and lounge. Jamie is a really excellent host and made sure to check in with us that everything was ok - he couldn't have been more helpful. "
