"Allowed to check in early. Had to pay for parking but we were given an extended time free of charge. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Gym was excellent for a hotel. Pool was lovely and clean! Breakfast in the morning was great and excellent service. Hotel is slightly dated but has an old school vibe so it suits it. All amenities available in the room. Comfortable nights sleep "

"Just stayed 1 night for the Joe Bonamassa gig at the M&S arena.Accommodation/facilities fine.Had a quick dinner at the hotel which was very good and done quickly for us because we hadn't much time.Staff were SO VERY helpful and friendly especially Rose & Sofia in the restaurant."

"Older building with a lot of charm and updates. The location was fantastic. It located right next to the train station but not too noisy. There’s actually a passage from the hotel to the platform. So you there in a matter of seconds. The hotel was also close to city bus stops and our tour bus (busy bus) pickup/drop-off spot."

"The property is under going a massive refurb to the bedrooms although we was very close to the workmen we didn't hear a thing, and the work men where very courteous, thankfully the main building is being left to its very ornate and beautiful surroundings, the breakfast deal is amazing, breakfast was good but the coffee was a bit of a let down but Mackie's is just across the road so no problem, all in all I love staying staff are great."

"Excellent position,very friendly helpful staff,good breakfast,quiet and comfortable. Hot water tap in bathroom not working but there was a bath(even though hard to get to taps because of fixed shower screen).Will recommend to friends and go again,many thanks."
