"I love this place... a little known gem with the older elegance of 14ft ceilings, chandeliers, double doors to the rooms, (elegant curtains!) and a big modern bathroom with a tub! It is convenient... half a block from the main train station, on the quieter side towards the river. (I am 77 but feel safe here.) There is a big comfortable downstairs sitting area. Although on a main street, the windows are thick and keep out the noise. It serves a modest breakfast for 9 euros. The down side is that...

"Good condition. Very easy to go back to Frankfurt main if heading to train, steps away. I'm elderly, it's a very convenient location for transfer the next day. Keep in mind that Frankfurt main might not open 24 hrs."
