"Firstly I would say do not attempt to arrive at the hotel in the dark. The country lanes are unlit, full of potholes and for an American feel like a single lane sidewalk. The hotel has a secure gated car park at the rear which is not sign posted Our room was very clean, wonderfully warm which was appreciated as it was 32f outside. Breakfast was excellent, a sofa and tv area to have coffee, tables to have a choice of cereals, fruits, juices and hot food….GO FOR THE FRIED BREAKFAST IT WAS MASSIVE!"

"The hotell is incredibly hard to get hold of all calls go to a automated switchboard, and even when leaving several messages to arrange check-in I did not recieve a call back. They cancelled my reservation on short notice due to unforseen circumstances and asked me to cancel the reservation with hotel.com, without so much as an apology. Obviously i did not stay with them and i was less than impressed by my experience"

"It had a pleasant atmosphere. Rather scruffy. Bed was ok but not brilliant. Wifi seemed a bit flakey. I for a room with ensuite which was nice. Overall it was good value, cheaper than any hotel."
