"Me and my friend stayed in the lodge during our visit to the Lake District and we absolutely loved it! The lodge was beautiful and felt very homey and the views were incredible. "I booked a last minute stay due to bad weather travelling home for work. Room was lovely and warm with quality bedding and towels. Tea and coffee as well as water in the room which was great. Fabulous breakfast and lovely service. "

Storm diversion, no problem!

"A last minute change of plans due to the severe weather didn't derail anything too hard. An incredibly peaceful stop with great food and the relaxation urgently needed. Not even a power cut during the night was too much of a problem as the comfortable night's sleep just came a little sooner! Would absolutely return here."
