"What a lovely property to stay in. We spent 2 nights there in a cosy double. The room was a perfect size for a short stay with a nice modern bathroom and free toiletries. We found it easy to park too. Their carpark is at the front entrance and can fit 7 cars in comfortably. The breakfasts each morning were absolutely delicious with both continental and hot cooked offerings and excellent filter coffee. Each day there was chocolate cake on a glass domed plate - a nice touch for those who needed...

"We've stayed here before and because we were made so welcome it was our first choice to stay again in Carlisle. Our room was spacious, there is a double and single bed. Fab Greek restaurant within walking distance (booking req) . All Carlisle has to offer less than a mile away. Thanks Adele we loved our weekend trip J + C "

"We thought the hosts were really lovely and the location of the guesthouse was ideal for us for walking. There are two pubs within walking distance which serve fantastic food: Coledale inn and Royal Oak. However, we had a downstairs room and seemed to have been really unlucky with the guests upstairs who woke us up every hour during the night. Thankfully, we were only staying a couple of nights as we were absolutely exhausted by the end. Would recommend a stay, just maybe ask for an upstairs...

"Guys running it were friendly and happy to help. It is in a good location just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Keswick. Very dog friendly and it was obvious both guys loved dogs. "We spent two nights at Daisy Lodge. It is a very homely and cosy lodge. It provided all the amenities we needed for the short stay. The location is ideal if you wish to walk from the site or catch the bus to Keswick etc. The beds were very comfortable and welcomed after two long walks. Contact with Helen was swift and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again."
