"We have stayed at other hotels by the Grand Marais Hotel Company, but this was our first stay at the Shoreline Inn. IMHO, this the best value for pet friendly lodging in town. It is no frills as far as the furnishings, tvs etc. But the location is spectacular and I really appreciate they allow pets. Everything was clean and the room was spacious. What we spent for two nights was easily less than one night at another property was that would not allow pets. The patio and beach are amazing. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. We are already planning our next stay. "
