The property was beautiful and well maintained. There was not a lot of communication regarding the deposit on the stay. I don’t mind paying the deposit for the property upon making the reservation, but it was for an odd amount and it was not make clear when payment was expected- so I was surprised when it happened. I would prefer costs disclosed and explained a bit more up front, especially when many identical businesses have slightly different policies for this type of thing.

Place was nice and clean. Thin walls, heard neighbors dogs baking every morning. Curtains didn’t cover the windows all the way. Overall a nice place in a great location but with some idiosyncrasies that were kind of obnoxious.

Beautiful family friendly Grand Marais resort
The location of the resort was wonderful. Close to local restaurants, shops and art galleries. We walked out of our back door and were on the beach of Lake Superior. One night was not long enough! We will return again.
