"This is a cozy and beautiful hostel. This was my first time using a hostel and I was stunned. They offer rooms with private bathrooms, this was the option we selected and we were delighted with it. This place is gorgeous and the staff was very kind. It is located in the heart of Barcelona near many attractions, bars, and restaurants. It is very convenient and they also offer luggage care if you want to spend time in the city before leaving. Highly recommend it!"

"The reception and bar staff were brilliant. Each once of the guys was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some lovely cocktails and beers at the bar. We never had breakfast but enjoyed a croissant and coffee each morning, which was nice. We found the location out of the way, and we spent quite a bit of money on taxis and Uber. Still, Barcelona also has a very efficient and inexpensive public transport system available to us. The shower was intense and hot, which was lovely after a whole day out in the winter chill. My only complaint was that housekeeping was a bit slack on the replenishment of tea, coffee etc and the cleaning of the cups. Apart from that small thing - it was a great hotel and a lot of care has been taken in putting it together."

"It's a hostel and you're not paying for anything fancy. What you get here is basic but the important things that matter are all there and done really well. Great bedding, fab shower pressure, and really lovely staff to top off the experiance. If you're looking for great quality no frills at a fantastic price, this is the place. "

"Personal de recepcion y direccion muy amables y atentos. En el servicio de desayuno se adaptaron a mis necesidades alimentarias. Cerca de metro y bus. Incluso me imprimieron un mapa para como desplazarme por la zona. No hay que olvidar que es un 2*, y el precio que se paga, pero sobradamente vale la pena. Muy bien gente de hotel Travesera! Repetiré sin duda."

"Excellent location. Clean room. Bathrooms a bit basic & messy if you didnt get in early before other people messed it up. Toilet rolls slow to be replenished. On the whole pretty good & wed stay again"
