"We enjoyed our stay in Coopmanhuijs. The location was perfect right in middle of shops and restaurants. The room was on the small side but very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was very good. Besides a good buffet spread, they also served an a la carte warm main. All the choices were excellent. Restaurant in the hotel was also very good. We had dinner one night and enjoyed it very much. Service was amazing. Reception, bell, housekeeping and F&B staff were all fantastic. Valet parking was complimentary. Neil who parked our car and carried our bags was very efficient and friendly. Jonathan at the front office was very helpful and thoughtful. Everyone was just nice!"

"The hotel has just been renovated and you can really tell, everything was beautiful and fresh. The room was lovely, roomy and the bed was very comfortable and it was a pleasant surprise to have a mini-bar with complimentary drinks included. The stay comes with a complimentary wine tasting and I'd recommend taking this, Tyson was so knowledgeable and passionate. We had a LOT of wine tastings while in Stellenbosch and Franschoek and this was the most informative one we had. The breakfast was amazing, a lovely cold spread with a great selection of hot foods and really nice coffee. We didn't eat in the main restaurant as we'd booked a local fine-dining restaurant months in advance and were fine-dining-ed out so went to Vadas, the smokehouse within the hotel grounds for the other night. This is a 5 min stroll and was fantastic, really good smokehouse food with brilliant waiting staff and of course, great wine. The grounds are fantastic for exploring and the pool is a lovely place to while away a few hours with an extensive and well priced food, cocktail and wine list. We would (and hopefully will!) happily return"
