Furniture and fittings in the room are showing signs of age, general cleanliness was good however the bathroom could do with a good clean paying attention to the grouted areas and shower screen which need a good scrub to remove built up dirt and grime."

"Lovely building and grounds. Staff were pleasant but there was minimal service in the hotel due to too few staff. A fire alarm went off at 2am and guests had to evacuate the building. There were no staff present to direct the evacuation. We would be very concerned about this if it was a real emergency and not a false alarm."
