"The room was clean and well-appointed. There was a desk; chair; closet/cabinet; kettle with cups, coffee and tea, and toiletries (including a shaving kit). The WiFi worked consistently well. The hotel is removed from the road and the window faced into a sort of courtyard, so traffic noise wasn't an issue. The hotel itself was quiet. The AC and ceiling fan both worked great. "One of the best experiences of service I have had. The team were very customer focused, knew their specialisms and were able to provide a very memorable stay. Riya and Nikita were stars for the whole stay and helped us with information and any requests we had. Deepak, Nitin, Malick and Thulsi were exceptional in the café/restaurant and always very attentive and served with a smile. Chef Vidhya was another star who even cooked special meals to allow us to taste some of her great food. Dattaram ensured we were looked after throughout our stay. The property has a great vibe and resort feel with lovely open areas and uses fans more than air conditioning, which provides that more traditional experience. The room we had was spacious and had a good view. The high tea is wonderful and has plenty of choices which vary daily. It was hard to fault this hotel and our stay except that we should have stayed longer!"

"Personalized service, excellent buffet breakfast. Didn’t like the fact the price of the same dish via room service v eating at the restaurants downstairs was significantly higher. Also, stevia and Maggi hot and sweet sauce was not available. While the latter is minor, as a pre-diabetic, stevia is important"

"Our stay at the Taj was nothing short of extraordinary. It was like a luxurious escape, with breathtaking in-room views of the beach and the vast ocean. The suite was spacious, well maintained, and offered a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Strolling along their private beach was a highlight, adding a sense of tranquility to our getaway. The dining experience, both in their restaurants and in-room service was exceptional, making our overall stay a memorable one."

Panjim - Ginger 💯

"Extremely comfortable space with ever smiling humble and happy staff to serve. They all were so so cooperative and friendly . Food and all meals were tasty . Completely safe since I was solo . Loved their hospitality. Being close to bus Stand helped so much for moving around in city . Travel desk too very good and helpful at odd hours too. Beyond satisfied with all the amenities Always consider if checking this side .They are just amazing and best. Gym too is good enough . Washrooms very clean all the time . Lounging area is so comfortable with so many options to hold meeting or relax . "

"Mateus had charm for sure and it is in the extremely picturesque Fontainhas neighborhood. Lots of photos to take just strolling around the area. However, there are some downsides about the hotel itself. One is that it is one of the many places in India where they push two twin beds together to make a supposedly queen or king bed. This really did not work well in our room because one of the beds was really broken down and sagging. While the room and the building interior were interesting because of being a converted old mansion, the conversion was not done in a very cohesive way. The staff was a bit inconsistent. Sometimes helpful, but sometimes not helpful. There was also a problem where they doubted that we had already paid when we arrived. Luckily we could retrieve the electronic receipts. "
