"Great hotel if you want to stay in a castle it is kept to a good standard considering it is a castle , the staff are more than helpful and are all wanting to please you , we had evening meal which was very good which we both enjoyed, we are on a gluten free diet and it was no problem at all for them, the breakfast the next day was also really good , the grounds are also very nice to walk around and explore, we both enjoyed staying here thanks to all the hard working staff we most likely will return "

"Beautiful buildings situated in fairly remote location. Very pleasant, helpful staff, comfortable, well equipped rooms. Beds are comfy but disappointed to find its 2 singles combined as i lay in the middle and got the seams. Delicious food and well stocked bar. Plenty of staff despite hosting a wedding the evening we stayed. Would 100% recommend"

"Excellent Hotel - we were there as we were attending a family funeral - to say we are a bit alternative as a family is probably an understatement however particularly the gentleman who manned the front desk took this in his stride - we were treated like VIP's and will definitely return to this idyllic hotel. Ideal location "
