"Easy to find, quiet location on edge of town, plenty of parking, nice reception, friendly welcome, quick and easy check-in, bar restaurant next door which didn’t visit, room clean and well-appointed, comfortable bed, good soundproofing, good shower, nice toiletries, nice breakfast (vegan sausages) overall great value and pleasant stay "

"Stayed for a long weekend for a friends wedding, staff great from the start even though we arrived late due to train issues. Had an issue with our showing not putting out hot water one morning but was sorted same day. "

"Lovely hotel that is ideally situated in a lovely square with cafes and restaurants within easy reach of the main town. Good facilities and it is worth having a castle view room. Good choice at breakfast with lots of fresh fruit and hot choices. Staff are friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for my 60th Birthday stay especially Alistair on Reception. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again if visiting Edinburgh. "
