"Our family of five had a very comfortable 3 night stay. The property is clean, well maintained, updated with appliances, and just beautiful. We did it all, hiked the short easy trails, fished (catch and release only), had a fire in the fire pit, grilled, and enjoyed the peaceful scenery on the porch. The ducks were so cute and friendly. We had a few questions the first full day, and Katie was quick to respond. We ventured out to Daingerfield State Park and had an amazing time there! The kitchen...

"All I can say is WOW! Frank and Linda are absolutely great folks and the view from the back porch was beautiful! Linda was so thoughtful and had baked muffins, cookies, and an anniversary package for us! Btw her baking skills are level 10! I very much enjoyed visiting with Frank at our check in. The proposer was PEACEFUL exactly what we were looking for. We will 100% be making a return visit to this gem in east texas. "

"Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. "

"Pictures do not do justice. The house is very nice and large. The master bedroom is huge with a beautiful bathroom. Other two bedrooms are other side of house. Everything looked new. About 10 minutes from Longview, very quiet and tranquil. The yard is fenced and our dog loved it. We would definitely stay here again. The host was very good about replying, which is always a plus.
