"First let me start by saying this is a 5 star place to stay, but a few exceptions forced my 4 star review. House was spotless, and so much room! Kitchen was HUGE with lots of room for cooking and gathering. Views were beyond amazing. There were a few things that did give us pause (no paper towels, no body soap in shower, no hot pads in kitchen), but a trip into town and we were ok. We had an issue with the stove, but owner sent a repairman out immediately! We will book this place again!"

"It was perfect for a girls get away. We had a great time. The only drawback was the common room was separated from the main house, so we were not all able to sleep in the main house. We didn’t let that bother us though. Loved the place and will most likely stay there again, next time we are planning a trip to Jefferson. "

"Everything was great, I booked for my husband and his friends. This is their annual fishing trip and 2nd time staying at Scotts place. When he got home he immediately said we need to look at the calendar and get this booked for next years trip. He said the new fish cleaning table is top notch and very appreciated. "The outside sells this place. Tranquil setting with lots of outside seating. Quiet and the lake is beautiful! Unfortunately, weather turned cold, and we did not get to enjoy the outdoors. Nice lake house, older, but in good shape. The house is small, but adequate for 2. Being stuck inside, my only complaint, too much furniture and decor for a small place. Felt a bit closterphobic for me. Overall, a great rental for good weather. "

"We booked this home for 3 nights for Thanksgiving and had an absolutely amazing time. It was quiet and we loved lounging on the large deck and watching the kids run around in the large backyard. My parents had been wanting all their kids and grandkids to get together and there was plenty of space with 5 bedrooms and a kids loft. The large table and small round table also were amazing for sitting everyone together to eat at the same time. Not to mention all the toys in the home and the kids loved...

"Pictures do not do justice. The house is very nice and large. The master bedroom is huge with a beautiful bathroom. Other two bedrooms are other side of house. Everything looked new. About 10 minutes from Longview, very quiet and tranquil. The yard is fenced and our dog loved it. We would definitely stay here again. The host was very good about replying, which is always a plus.
