"Spur of the moment trip to Galway with my sister. Hotel is lovely. Very comfortable and a fantastic location for seeing Galway city. The leisure centre/pool area was a little disappointing but the rest of the hotel was excellent."

"Check in was flawless, welcomed by the floor staff, receptionist, and given a lovely welcome drink, truly enjoyed. Asked for a late check in and the receptionist was so accommodating and just lovely to us. Called then to get breakfast in bed for 11am and it was delivered bang on time and lovely and hot. "A splendid step back into Galway’s past in this boutique hotel situated in a medieval townhouse steps from the bustle of Quay Street. Our tiny but cozy room was on the third floor — and please note, if you have any kind of mobility issue, this is NOT the lodging for you, looking out on Cross Street (with some attendant noise at night) — but the emphasis here is on “cozy”, because it was comfortable and well-appointed. "We had a lovely 2 nights stay in the Hardiman the day after storm Eowyn so it was understaffed but the staff that were in attendance were excellent! The food was exceptional, 10/10 Our only gripe would be that the bedrooms are quite dated and could do with some modernisation, but the foyer and the rest of the hotel were very nice and comfortable! Well located for walking around the city, would stay again !"
