"The Skeffington Arms is a super cool property. The only drawbacks are that one end of the restaurant smelled a little bit like a bathroom, the heater in our room would not shut off so I finally had to turn off the power to it, and it's a bit noisy late at night when music is playing in the restaurant. But overall, it was great, and we will stay there again next time we are in Galway."

When our Valentines evening stay canceled on us, they managed to keep us in our same room for an additional night. "I booked the double for one person, it was very small but perfect for me. THe gentleman on entering at reception was lovely and helpful and the blonde girl on leaving was also lovely. Basic Irish Tv Channels, No wardrobe to hang clothes or a full length mirror and no extra lock on the door these were my only issues. The bed was spotless and I had a great sleep. Bathroom lovely with a great shower. Coffee machine and kettle with Lyons tea - yahoo!! Fridge not very cold but holds small fresh milk...

"This is a understated, stylish hotel that is very relaxed and friendly. The rooms were a good size with tea and coffee making, iron and ironing board and safe. King sized bed was very comfortable. Very good location but parking is a multi-storey along the street. I’m not that fussy, but I did think breakfast was disappointing … tried all the (limited) options during my stay but most were overlooked or dry. There’s plenty of better options near by which I’ll choose for my next stay there."
