"I could not expect more from a hotel. This hotel just got 4 Large room but everything is extraordinary here. Welcome drink is a fresh king coconut drink for each one of us and we are the only guests here, it is like the whole villa is just for us, nice staff, wonderful outdoor breakfast, large room space, quite environment, beautiful scenery, clean swimming pool... I am sure to come again."

"Beautiful location, very quiet and peaceful, very friendly and helpful host who made our stay here! Beautiful rooms with the most amazing views, wonderful infinity pool with incredible views. If you want peace and quiet to relax this is the place. We stayed here for 5 days and hardly left as it was just so beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely stay again."

"The property never got our reservation, so showed up and no one was there. This, however, didn't appear to be Amara's fault. Ana was very apologetic and tried to make the most of it. Property is nice though, but it's more suited for a full rent out than just a couple looking for a get away."

"Lovely clean room in a quiet location - close to the town but not right in the centre. The large pool was also excellent. Great value for money!"

"we got off the train form Colombo & showed our booking paper to our Tuk-tuk driver. He rang to get instructions as to how to find them, only to be told it was CLOSED!!!! Woopsie, but luckily he knew somewhere."

"This was our 5th visit to Sri-Lanka, we always stay in Private Villas and have had some wonderful experiences, but also, some pretty bad ones. But Beach Mansion Villa is up there with the best of them, really clean, spacious, good location, good communication with the owner, but I have saved the best until last, the staff are amazing, they are discreet, but really pleased to make the holiday special, and the food, wow, what great food, from the fisherman turning up at 8:00am, with the catch of...

"Taru Villas was without doubt the best accommodation we stayed in on our recent visit to Sri Lanka. The poolside room was well furnished and air conditioned. The bathroom was roomy with a huge shower. Toiletries and hairdryer are provided too. The villa is beautifully furnished and you feel like you are a guest in a family home rather than a hotel. The breakfast was outstanding. Fresh fruit juice accompanied a plate of mixed tropical fruit, this was followed by your choice from the menu (the eggs florentine are amazing). Croissants and toast were washed down with coffee or tea. The staff are the most friendly and welcoming young men, they were incredibly kind and helpful. We were able to have a late checkout too. I would recommend Taru Villas to anyone visiting Galle. "

"We had such a pleasant stay at this property. It was so calm and serene. With a stunning view of the fort. There's a small safe area to swim in the ocean as the rest of the sea is quite dangerous. A nice warm pool that offers the same view and peaceful vibe. The dining option for us was a paid dinner that had authentic Sri Lankan food. It wasn't short of any flavour and they did not cut corners - this is coming from a Sri Lankan. The next time I come from Canada and need to visit Galle. I will stay here again without hesitation"
