"This place is in remote town, so it’s quiet and peaceful. Carolina is wonderful explaining all the amenities and places in the quaint village. The parking lot is safe and convenient. The room was spacious, but wished the bathroom had a window. Loved the reading room with Refrigerator that was very useful! The breakfast was lovely! My husband and I stayed there very comfortably and felt like my own home!"

"The Borgo is situated very far from the main road, with a small scary road that we did not dare drive in the dark. There were tons of bugs, we got eaten alive our 1st time at the pool, we only stayed 20 mins. Our initial room was awful, next to reception, where groups of people hung out. "This is a great accommodation. Room is spacious, comfortable and updated. Our room was above the Bistro which was great for a glass of wine at the end of the day and coffee and breakfast in the morning. Visit the Brolio Castle for great valley views. Wine tasting at Ricasoli is excellent. Everyone we dealt with were friendly and helpful. Finally Osteria Brolio the on site restaurant is worth trying good food well prepared. Overall very positive experience highly recommend you visit and stay."

"Monica was the friendliest most enthusiastic host we’ve stayed with. Everything from her greeting to the amazing breakfast was perfect. She does a lot of baking, so the breakfast was really a treat and you could also get eggs cooked in various ways. The room was a little small but very comfortable. Parking was on the street, but it was fairly close and easy."

Kommunikation seitens des Vermieters vor Anreise leider keine, soweit aber auch nicht dramatisch da über die Buchungsplattform alle notwendigen Informationen inkl. telefonischer Kontaktdaten übermittelt wurden. Nachdem wir aus Deutschland per Auto und mit Hund angereist waren, wussten wir dann warum: verschlossenes Eisentor vor einem zu diesem Zeitpunkt verwaisten Grundstück....

"Fantastic property that is immaculately finished. From the moment of driving up to it via the main road and seeing the building on the hillside to stepping inside there is a wow factor. Rooms were clean and comfortable, some with lovely new bathrooms. Breakfast was lovely, fresh and quality ingredients. Only issue was the noise from the apartment above the next morning but all in all a lovely property"
