"Super unique experience off the beaten path to stay in a beautiful Ryokan. Would be great for a value with larger families, but be prepared to understand the busses or get a taxi, not a ton to do in the immediate area. On the other hand, staff was nice, limited but plenty of English with my terrible Japanese. Food was excellent and beautifully plated. Rooms were truly amazing, one of my favorite things on my travels."

"An amazing and unique traditional stay in a small town outside of Kyoto. It is secluded and we were still able travel to Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, and Kobe. Public transportation is provided multiple time every morning, and although I did a lot I highly recommend walking around the trails, and temples. My favorite temple was right behind the hotel, and it held amazing views and was not crowded at all.
