"We travel amount five or six times a year all over the country and this is probably one of the top three hotels we have stayed in. The staff was amazingly professional and courteous as well as genuinely concerned about our stay. The breakfast was a true breakfast and the lady who maintained all the food was top notch. Everything in the room looks brand new as well as a huge spacious lobby a well lit parking lot and a giant TV. They would highly recommend you stay here over any other hotel on the area. It's approximately an hour and a half from the cruise ship port which was perfect for us and a nice simple Drive in the morning. It will definitely be back for a future Cru"

"The room was newly renovated staff was very nice There was a dirty damp towel hanging on the bathroom door and only one other towel in the bathroom, staff answered my text immediately and brought towels right up to the room."

"We saw the Lakeside in while visiting Mount Dora's Blueberry festival the previous year and thought it was so lovely. We stayed 2 nights. All of the employees were super nice and helpful.We loved the historic feel of the inn and the gorgeous grounds. The room was large with even a walk in closet. Furnishings were appropriate for the age of the building and in good condition. Bed was comfortable. Improvements could be made, perhaps new/cleaned carpets and provide a fridge. We loved the Lakeside Inn and will return."
