"Abin at Reception was very attentive and helpful. He provided excellent service for his customer. Room was very clean. I was very pleased they didn't have cushions and bed runners on the pillows and bed because they are usually dirty and don't get gchanged / washed after every guests. Please provide tissues or serviettes in bedroom. "

"Really enjoyed staying here, a beautiful grand old mansion with lovely art. Excellent food both at breakfast and dinner. Walking distance to the town though Tuktuk drivers may hassle you to use them. But what really makes this place are the staff, run by 3 lovely ladies who are just the right mix of friendly and helpful. Dry hotel but there is a bar about 50m away! Would highly recommend and is well priced."

"I spent my last night in India at the Malabar House in Fort Kochi and it was quite the treat. I was upgraded to the Garden suite and the room was stunning from the fixtures to the artwork. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located just a block or two inland from the harbor and the fishing nets. Gorgeous property. "

"I spent only two nights at Fort House and wished I could have stayed longer! It is located on the edge of Fort Kochi's central area, it is an oasis but still within walking distance--and there is no shortage of tuk-tuks. They are working on the road, but don't let that dissuade you--the inner courtyard garden is beautiful and the outdoor dining areas are lovely. It sits on the straight between the sea and the backwater, so I had breakfast with the birds--so peaceful. And the breakfast was among the best on my trip. The room was large and nicely decorated. The staff was plentiful and friendly and requests were met almost immediately. I will, without a doubt, stay at Fort House again when in Kochi! "

"It was a quaint little place with very friendly staff. The restaurant was covered but had no walls / no AC. Also, they do not have a liquor license so they do not serve."

"Amazing welcome by Bernard. Warm, friendly and genuine. I booked a small, cheap room and was upgraded to a larger, more superior room at no extra cost. Bed was super comfortable. Bernard was so helpful - giving information on the are; booking taxi. Would certainly stay at Dream Catcher again when back in the area. "
