"This is a great hotel on the waterfront in Fort Kochi. It is a marvellous restoration of this old boatyard to create a very colonial feel. There are some nice touches to take advantage of such as high tea at 5pm each day followed by a guided tour of the harbour on the hotel’s very nice boat. All the staff were excellent but I give particular thanks to Arun who could not do enough for us. "I booked the hotel not expecting the focus on Ayurveda treatment to be so strong. Once I realized that this was a top Ayurveda facility, I adjusted my expectations. I consulted and got a free massage. The massage was truly transformative. The hotel staff is wonderful! The food is great! The other guests were very friendly. There is a sense of community among the guests that's fostered by the hotel. I recommend!"

"I spent my last night in India at the Malabar House in Fort Kochi and it was quite the treat. I was upgraded to the Garden suite and the room was stunning from the fixtures to the artwork. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located just a block or two inland from the harbor and the fishing nets. Gorgeous property. "
