"Very convenient location just a few minutes walk outside Bootham Bar. Parking was on street and cost £5 per day for a permit ( arranged by owner on arrival). "No previous knowledge room was loft room... wooden beams a nuisance if you are tall. Too hot as heating left on. TV signal temperamental also. Room clean, beds very comfy, shared bathroom no problem. Hosts pleasant. Good value for money. Town easily accessible. Worth a stay here. "

"I had the top floor classic double room, with own bathroom. Lovely hotel all together struggled with stairs but other than that thoroughly enjoyed it. Messages were answer straight away, wasnt sure about check out but staff were onsite to help. Walking distance from beach and 5 mins in car to food and all amenities, barely any sound, on street parking can be difficult to park close but there was enough area "
