"We weren't allowed to use the pool, hot tub or sauna, priority guven to a wedding reception. Some mosquitoes were aound and Japanese beetles. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Villa was nice."

Staff very friendly and helpful. It'd have been nice to have free luggage storage, like in most other hotels - but, admittedly, the paid lockers were another example of clever design. From personal and friendly pick-up at the airport by our host, to superb breakfast buffet in a glass garden room, featuring house-made specialties (such as fruit sauce made from grapes in the garden), and carefully appointed room in historic building in an interesting, walkable neighborhood outside of central bustle, but a 5 minute walk to all sights."

"The rooms are beautiful, modern and very stylish. The location is central to everything, and they have some parking available. The staff were friendly and gave us great restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was great. We would definitely stay here again!"

"We were warmly welcomed by Paolo and his father who were charming and very helpful. The room was huge but rather gloomy and dark with all indirect lighting. The bathroom was large and the shower excellent. Breakfast was a simple affair but with delicious bread and home-made conserves. No cappuchinos available. "Room large and comfortable, and well maintained. It was good to have a shower and a bath, although the bath water was not very warm in the evening, and the shower not very powerful. Breakfast basic but adequate. The position of the hotel could not have been better and the staff were very helpful. Overall this was excellent value for money."
