"We loved Steam House. The room had real character and the location was great. There were 2 adults and 2 children and, even with 2 single beds and a queen size bed, plus our luggage, the room felt spacious and was well equipped. The breakfast provided was generous and certainly filled us up before we started the day. Steam House represented very good value for money and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a place to stay in Bologna. "

"It was more like a hostel, but was clean. It was hard to figure out how to get there and using the shower was kind of complicated. I had to ask for a cot, even though I asked them for double beds before I got there. Decent nights sleep."

"Great location . We had a little problem with our first room and we moved room. Second room was huge but didn’t have a window. We were only there a few nights so we were ok with this. Really appreciated having a late checkout. I would stay again. "

"We arrived early so the hotel wasn’t ready for us but very quickly everything was put in order and we had a wonderful stay. The owner recommended an excellent fish restaurant - one of the best dinners of our trip. "

"I chose this location because it was close to where I needed to be. This is an apartment converted into a B&B. It’s great inside but the surrounding residential area has little to offer. It works best if you’re driving through and need a place to stay (and park). To its credit once inside it very comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. The rating badges are prominently on display. "After booking and before arrival, communication was very easy and fast and complete. The whole place is spotlessly clean. This is the first and only place I did not mind not having a private bathroom. Any time of day it was clean as if it had just been cleaned. The room is very spacious and well equipped with water cooker and even tea and coffee. The bed is comfy. The only minus I can think of is that it is not really sound proof. "Avoid this place at all costs. They ask you to pay with credit card by sending your drains through WhatsApp. They didn’t even know I was supposed to be there, put me into a different room and demanded more payment due to their own mistakes.
