"The 2 different Receptionist were very amiable. The Cleaner, was also helpful in getting my TV to work. The Shower not so good, as the water did not go down until I’d finished & was out of the cubicle. I therefore had to shower in a tray full of soapy, used, water. Which isn’t very nice. I did report this. But obviously this was as I was leaving ( I was only there the 1night.) "

"Accommodation was clean but bathroom tired. Single beds were actually bunkbeds and not suitable for 3 older ladies travelling together. Getting into property not the easiest either, as code not sent. It had a hostel feel about it. Good position."

"Very old building, creaky with big rooms and big bathrooms, wooden floors. Property had character. Host was very accommodating & helpful. Parking is round the corner at 12 eur a day at a public multi-storey. Very very minor point, would recommend a rug or two or slippers as walking on bare unpolished wood with bare feet isn’t that comfortable. Quiet part of town but still 10-15 mins walk to the main areas. Would def stay here again, we enjoyed our two nights here. No kettle in the room but they...

"Amazing property and perfect location to explore Amarante. Only stayed for one night but it was just what I needed. The building is quite old but I like the traditional style of it. I would definitely return if in Amarante again!"
