"Myself and my wife loved staying here it was a beautiful guest house very traditional. We were visiting family so found tbe guest house to be very convenient . If i had to moan about anything it would be the thin walls between the rooms we could here the couple in the next room very clearly which was a little annoying at times but usually only when we wanted to sleep. And again its a very small moan becuase they may of been loud people. The breakfast was great and Siri the cat kept us company...

"Loved the pool, very nice hosts, great breakfast, room was nice, however the description of amenities is not accurate - there was not air conditioning in the room, or is there a restaurant or pool side bar, which left us stuck for lunch when enjoying the pool. We booked a rook with river view but did not receive it. That all being said we did enjoy the place - but just beware or what is not accurate "

"Terrible apartment. Terrible service. Check-iin was very difficult and the room was mis-described. We left and did not even stay. Several guests were complaining at the same time. There was no reception, it is being decorated. It is all remote from Spain. I am awaiting a refund. Worst experience ever on Hotels.com"

"The 2 different Receptionist were very amiable. The Cleaner, was also helpful in getting my TV to work. The Shower not so good, as the water did not go down until I’d finished & was out of the cubicle. I therefore had to shower in a tray full of soapy, used, water. Which isn’t very nice. I did report this. But obviously this was as I was leaving ( I was only there the 1night.) "

"Accommodation was clean but bathroom tired. Single beds were actually bunkbeds and not suitable for 3 older ladies travelling together. Getting into property not the easiest either, as code not sent. It had a hostel feel about it. Good position."

"Our stay at Quinta da Ermida was overall fantastic. There were 5 of us staying in the 3-bedroom apartment, which was its own house with separate entry and private bathroom for each room. The view was gorgeous of the river and the train, and the property was beautiful to venture and take in the amazing views. "A good location with lovely shops and eating places around. Eduardo at reception was so kind and helpful and went above and beyond to help and advise. I was generally happy with the apartment and the bed was comfy. I had everything I needed for 4 nights. A few small niggles though… The terrace area overlooks a horrible dirty courtyard and tables and chair for sitting badly need replaced. Shower needs drain unblocked as tray filled up quickly. "What we liked is that this was a real neighborhood, not just a tourist area. It was an easy walk from the main train station connecting to Lisbon. the hotel itself is spanking brand new and the bed was big and comfortable. Also less than two blocks away was an amazing local bakery (Chicana) which was amazingly cheap for that quality of pastries, bread and coffee. Their English is limited, but you will be fine. We did breakfast there every day and then walked to the main part of Porto (but we often walk over 20,000 steps a day when we travel -- FYI.)"
