"Booked a stay for me and my wife as a routine escape and i didn't regret it. The most exquisite views and surroundings. The Staff were impecable. The only finger pointing I will do is some lack of maintenace. From almost broken doorknobs, elevator panels almost coming off, fissures on the walls and a hole outside on the floor at the outdoor pool leaves a sour taste to it, as it is a 5 star hotel. Nonetheless a great experience. Just be advised, the means of transport in the area are really scarse, and if you wish to have a nearby local dining experience you will be disappointed, as there are no nearby restaurants or even shops/supermarkets. Either you dine at the restaurant hotel, which you need previous reservation (1 Day prior) or you ask for room service, which is equally good. The bar offers lights meals as well. Also don't forget any type of necessaire, no shops or supermarkets in the area."

"Great location - Heroismo station literally a minute to the right oppsite the Hotel.Modern hotel with good facilities and helpful attentive staff, lovely comfortable room, great stay.Good local bars and restaurants. My first time in Porto and i am in awe, such a beautiful city but despite the weather i still managed to see many sights and visit 4 cellars and sample the famous Port ( including a visit to The Douro valley).Looking foward to returning to Porto in the near future - with nicer weather and have no hesitation in staying at the Timbre Heroísmo again. "We absolutely loved the Lost Garden! This special place was created with intention and offers truly beautiful food, linen, garden, swimming pool, drinks, soaps, and people! The colors and calming decor combined with aromatherapy and a stunning view really created an invitation to breathe. The staff took great care to pay attention to every single detail and helped with anything we asked. Upon arrival we were offered a fantastic welcome drink and cookies while our bags were whisked to our room. The linens, bed, and pillows made for a great night sleep. The breakfast spread and surroundings looked like they were right out of a magazine. We will definitely be back if we are ever in Porto! "
