"We were close to the central area of Porto so it was very easy to explore the city. The hotel was very clean and nice, however we did not realize that we would not have a bathroom in our room which was frustrating because the images made it look like there was a bathroom in the room. "

"This guest house is very simple. It has a beautiful stair case and no elevator. It's central location in the city is excellent, but obviously there can be noisy people in the streets and city noise. There are several coffee and breakfast places within a 5 minute walk. The beds were more comfortable than usual. The shower had hot water. For the price I paid, I was satisfied."

"One of the best hotels we ever stayed. Our room was not large but it was comfortable and we had enough space to put our stuff. The service was impeccable the people that work at this hotel could not be friendlier. They help us with dinner suggestions, buying bus tickets, tourist attractions. They served us delicious breakfast that was freshly prepared every morning. We had the best view of the Douro River. I would stay there again!"

We booked a room for four, and it provided almost everything we needed. It came with a well-equipped modern kitchen facilities in the room, a comfortable bed, a flat-screen TV, big windows, big toilet, hot water, and air conditioning, which was especially helpful since it was very cold in January. 3.
