"This marked the eighth Thanksgiving at Copperstone. The property meets the family's needs, and being pet-friendly makes it even more appealing. The grounds, the condo and the proximity to the park make it a lovely place to spend a long weekend. Cory, as always, is a great owner and communicator. "Condo has plenty of room for family of 4, but the cleanliness of the condo could have been better. I was disappointed that 2 of the bed comforters were badly stained, just not what you want as a first impression. Also, I had to go to the store to buy steel wool pads to clean the frying pan. Kitchen had most things necessary to cook meals at home, plenty of towels for bath and spa. "Property was as advertised and provided a comfortable home base for our stay in the Canmore/Banff area. The pool was nice and warm, even on cool May days. The property manager was very responsive and friendly."

"A family oriented hotel. We are a family of five and appreciate the space to have a kitchen and living area. This hotel is affordable. A bit outdated, but if that makes it affordable I don't mind. Unfortunately the regular pool is closed since COVID and never reopened (the pool is not really advertised so that is fair), and during this stay the maintenance of the waterpark got extended which resulted in being closed as well. "The hotel was in a great spot where it wasn’t too busy but you could still easily walk to all the shopping around Banff. Nice and quiet too. The parking was not great in my opinion. There is a parkade for a fee but with the park fee too, we opted out. Unfortunately the room we got, the one bed was very uncomfortable. There was a queen flat sheet that was on the bottom and not a full mattress protector so the mattress was hanging out. Which is kind of gross to me. We just asked for kings sheets and they were super good about it. Overall it was a good stay and super affordable. Everyone was friendly as well. "

"We stayed here for a wedding in Banff and had a great time. Room was spacious and clean, and staff are exceptionally helpful and well informed about the area. Just off Banff’s main drag, this hotel is centrally located to shops and dining, including a great bakery just around the corner for morning pastries. All things considered, it was reasonably priced and good value. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Banff."
