"We had a great time staying at this apartment. The location was perfect. We were able to easily walk to the Palacio Real, the museums, the Parque del Buen Retiro and more. The Rastro market was one street behind the apartment. We did use the metro and were very close to La Latina and just a bit further from the Tirso de Molina station. The only issue is you need to walk 10 min away to get the key to get into the apartment. If you are arriving with bags, this can be quite inconvenient. Especially when checking out, my friend had to stay in the flat so I could return the key and she could stay with the bags otherwise we would have had to bring them with us on a 10 minute uphill walk.
