"Woww is all i can i say about our stay. We had a fabulous night. Peter was just the best host ever. He has a wonderful caring nature and really delivered a wonderful experience. The hotel is gorgeous and probably the best comfortable room we have ever stayed in. To top it all off the breakfast was astounding with a huge selection of continental fare. My cooked English breakfast was beautiful as was my wife's eggs royale. I am so pleased we have found this gem of a place and plan to visit...

"The hotel is very handy from the railway station. The bar area was a delight to relax in, with the chap playing the baby grand. The chairs are comfy but low for eating from (for me 5'4) The restaurant is colourful and the breakfast was good. I was in a room at the back of the hotel and the decor was simple, the room was fine though (i like the old furnitire) and warm enough for me (im a cold person) but maybe a little overpriced. "This is a grand hotel well maintained, clean and friendly. Large comfortable rooms. Unlike other Grand hotels I have stayed at, The Imperial still maintains the original high standards of the Grand Hotel. Prices are very reasonable in low season with great views across the harbour and easy walking distance to the town centre"

"We had a great stay overnight on a Sunday when there was plenty of free parking on the road just outside the hotel. The spa was wonderful and our room was very comfortable. Great staff and facilities with a 24hr bar service. We would highly recommend. "
