"Hartford Hall is a nicely appointed hotel and pub in Northwich, situated between Chester and Manchester. My room was very comfortable with a big bed, a nice bathroom and shower, and good tea/coffee facilities including a coffee machine with pods. The downsides were the windows could do with replacing as my window wouldn't shut completely, meaning I could regularly hear the traffic going by. Thankfully there wasn't really a draft as the radiator was working well. With earplugs I slept fine but...

"We loved the location and the rooms,we had a room overlooking the River Dee. The room looked to be clean on anrrival but around the edges was full of dust and the bathroom again just needed that little extra touch. Check in was easy and friendly. Bonus was free parking. Just unfortunate the restaurant was closed (we did know about this) Overall we would stay again."

"An excellent city centre choice in an historic old coaching inn. The room was comfortable clean and the breakfast good albeit limited to an English breakfast /cereals. Great bar and choice of drinks. A really enjoyable stay and excellent staff. No parking but everything you need is within a short walk. Restaurants, market, theatre is 2 minutes walk, main shopping street 5 mins stroll. "

"Turned up around 6 and check in was quick. went out for works meal so didn’t eat there but one thing I asked for in prior message to hotel was for twin beds to be connected as advert offered double bed. That wasn’t done. Other than that, hotel clean, reasonably comfortable beds and checkout was easy. Good value overall"

"Stayed at the silk rooms on our first visit to knutsford. We were in the area as were attending a friends wedding. "The Courthouse hotel is beautifully decorated and our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The bar staff were so polite and attentive end even made me Zombie cocktails which were off the menu and where the best I've had in many years. Thank you for a lovely stay. We'll definitely be back. "
