"This property needs a good dollop of TLC. The standard of cleaning was poor in lots of areas and the garden needed maintenance. I did not enjoy having to spend an hour of my holiday maintaining the vacuum cleaner, The parking space can only easily be used by small cars, and we chose to use the NT car park as an alternative. It was a shame because the property was nice but could have been a lot better if properly looked after."

"The property was clean and comfortable, and Elterwater is a lovely area to stay in with lovely scenery outside the front door. Sheep just roam freely, so make sure you drive carefully! It's also a great starting point for a number of good walks. We had lots of days where we didn't need to use to car to enjoy a day out and great views.
