" Staff at Elk Inn gracious and friendly, extra pillows provided for spouse as requested. We were moved to another room as TV in original room was not working, room change was fine. Very quiet area. Local restaurant recommendation by staff for dinner was great. Accommodation price very reasonable, easy access to major highways and interstates, gas, restaurants, etc "

"Overall clean and comfortable, with a convenient location near I-77. We had to drive a bit to find a restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff and would stay there again if in the area. "

"We absolutely loved our girls trip stay at this property. The ambiance of being out in the country surrounded by beautiful animals and surroundings was incredibly peaceful. Shelton Vineyards is right up the road and we also did a day on the Elkin Vine Line. They will pickup and drop off from this location for a small fee. We had a lovely time with all the comforts of home. Will definitely be returning!"

"Great stay. This is a wonderful location!!!! We could sit on porch and look at vineyard. We also visited the vineyard and downtown Mt. Airy. The grounds at the house is spectacular with views and a pond behind with horses. Also great bed. It was truly a magical trip for me and my husband."
