"Very spacious apartment. None of the furniture seemed worn-down, despite having an older style. There is only A/C in the bedroom, which is not a problem if you are not staying in the apartment during the day. The bathroom was also spacious, shower pressure was great. The toilet did not flush well. My room was located on the street where there were some small clubs. The music woke me up every night around 4am unless I wore earplugs and played white noise. I stayed in the small annex building, so...

"Drink service was very poor.the cleaner spat in the pool.a customer was shouted at for dropping a glass.there was no entertainment.the food was poor quality at dinner,like school dinners.the breakfast wasn't worth waking up for.there was absolutely zero atmosphere,like nobody was enjoying themselves."
"Nice apartment & room. Itâs a bit hard to find though, even for a local taxi driver. And the keys are confusing..which key is for which door? Also I didnât know where to leave the keys when I left..itâs not possible to lock the doors & post the keys back through a letterbox.
But I would stay here again as the room, apartment & bathroom are all fine :) I do still recommend it : )"

"In total there were 15 of us staying in various locations. My stay in Gloria Palace was excellent , staff were most friendly, cleanliness was perfect, rooms all have sea views & are most spacious.
I had only one complaint, my main course meal,which was duck, was inedible. I was unable to eat it as it was tough. I told my waitress but nothing was done ! So I again mentioned at reception & was told by the gentleman that he would ask his boss. When I was checking out I again asked & was told that nothing could be done!!! Such a pity that it wasnt dealt with correctly. "

"We had a lovely relaxing 8 days. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. MeliĂĄ hotels are excellent.
We paid extra for The Reserve and it was definitely worth it.
The Reserve breakfast and lunch buffet was ideal. The pool was fabulous with Bali beds and lots of loungers.
Maivelys was incredible serving drinks, fruit and ice cream.
She definitely deserves a special mention and is a true asset to the Paradisus."
"Great for kids and parents. My 3 year old loved it. Room were spacious , the mattress weird. No conditionner just shampoo. They could have nespresso machine instead of instant coffee and their mini fridge is not cold if you plan on keeping milk for your toddler, had to use a cooler w ice. They got free apples at reception and thereâs a grocery store 2 min walking distance."
"Lovely little apartment, was in very good condition, clean and a bottle of wine awaiting us on arrival. Host was very helpful and responded quickly as I required some additional assistance during my stay. Would definitely visit again on returning to gran canaria. I would advise to park at the bottom of the hill if you rent a car as there was always a space down there although I visited at the start of April and you might not be so lucky at a peak time"
"Overall was a very good stay, albeit I must say the beds were very uncomfortable. Two single beds for a couple and with those top up very thing and soft mattress that arenât really a mattress and are horrible for your back. Bed frames also had breaks that were not working so the frames would also easily move.
When we checked in we were told the pool closing time was at 7, however I got in the pool at 17:55 and got told off by the maintenance guy telling me pool closes at 18:00 and it is o my in summer it closes at 19:00. Gran Canaria is a sunny island and I think the pool should always stay open until 7 so that people can take advantage of it."
