"Came for one night with my 2 young sons. For a bit of fun and to use the pool. Gorgeous surroundings. The pool was lovely and Clean. Our Room had a double bed a single bed plus a pull out bed. The main beds were really comfy. The pull out not so much. Room was great for us. There was the odd mark on the carpets etc but not a problem for us. Hotel allows dogs for an extra free. "A beautiful historic building that’s kept its authenticity. Many hotels like this usually undergo a renovation and paint everything 50 shades. This building creaks, has squeaky floorboards which adds to its character. The walls are paper thin however and you can hear EVERYTHING that goes on next door. The shower was unpredictable but it’s what I would expect for a room with such a good rate. Don’t expect luxurious rooms and the grounds are manicured. A typical wedding venue. I’d be happy to...
