"The property is a little dated but the rooms are clean. We were disappointed to find that we couldn’t use ethernet cables to connect to the internet and our work laptops wouldn't work on the public wifi (due to VPN security). The lounge bar is a bit disappointing - no ambiance - just a TV at the end of the room that was showing golf when we stopped by for a drink. "One of the nicest friendliest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Owen the manager was extremely personable and was always very polite, friendly and helpful. The food dinner and breakfast was 1st class, the bar area was welcoming and clean and decor of a high standard. The bedroom was clean, classy, warm and inviting.
