"Everything about the house was superb. It was spacious yet cosy and you felt at home as soon as you walked in. The house is well equipped. "All was great. This is a working stable with horses and those many that have to care for horses, plus at least one friendly dog. You felt welcomed and that was appreciated. With a 15 minute drive you are in North Berwick and so close to John Muir park and Seacliff. Seacliff is special. The only, and minor, negative was that it was not a peaceful place when we were there- lots of tree trimming (Chain saw) and chipping- so very noisy at times. "A lovely property inside. Plenty of room for all the family. We stayed whilst attending the Edinburgh Fringe and tattoo so the price was higher than normal. The bus stop was about 10 mins walk and a half hour bus ride into the centre of Edinburgh. We were a bit disappointed to be charged an extra £25 to check in 2 hours early on top of the price we paid. "What a pleasant surprise this find was! We were able to book three nights on relatively short notice. There were four of us visiting Scotland, with two playing golf at several of the local courses. It is very conveniently located near St. Andrews, as well as other little coastal towns. We stayed in The Pines, which was a lovely little house at the end of a road. The grounds were beautiful, and the house fit our every need. It was a perfect ending to a busy 10-day Scottish whirlwind tour."
