"The Francis Marion hotel is a beautiful historic hotel in Charleston, SC! Every member of their staff was so kind, helpful, and happy! The room was just the right size! The bathroom was a little small. We stayed in a 2-bedroom queen. The views from our room were beautiful! We walked EVERYWHERE! King St is in a great location! There is a free bus that stops right by the hotel! I would recommend parking at a nearby lot that we found out was free on our last day! The parking garage is not affiliated with the hotel, does not allow the ability to come & go, & the hours start over at midnight. $24/8 hours. If you take the car out at 10 and bring it back at 6, you’ll pay $24 on your way out. The next day you’ll owe $18 for those 6 hours (6-midnight). Just a heads up! This wouldn’t stop us from visiting again, we’d just plan our parking better!"

"Property is less than 2 months old. Plenty of food and drink options without having to leave. Staff super friendly. Swimming pool. Rooms well appointed. It’s a secret that won’t stay secret for long. "

"Staff at this hotel are very friendly and welcoming. Lobby area looked like it had been recently renovated. Very bright and modern looking. Our room was spacious, beds were comfortable. Bathroom, specifically the tub area, could use improvement as it looked old and tile grout looked dirty. Overall, our stay was fine and we would stay here again. "
