However upon arrival I was extremely impressed with this hotel, the staff on the reception were super helpful and friendly, the room and bathroom was beautiful, lovely and clean as well as the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was great, great selection of cold foods as well as hot. The hotel is in a fantastic location, only a 5 minute drive from Pen Y Fan and very local to the four waterfall...

The check-in staff were very good, but there was a long wait at the bar on Saturday evening as there was no one staffing it, when he did arrive there were no apologies given. There were some parts of the hotel which seemed a little tired, the bathroom we had and the carpets in the corridors and on the stairs in particular. "
