"The Waters is a great place when you want kid fun but not Wisconsin Dells prices. We go several times a year when visiting our grandkids (ages 8 & 9) up north. The indoor water park is small, with 2 pools, a great slide, and a little kiddie fun pool. The rooms are big and bright, and the staff is always pleasant and welcoming. The only shortfall is the limited dining, which is pretty much pub fare. Not much for vegetarians except frozen crust pizza. But the grandkids like mini corn dogs, so...

"The frontdesk personnel were a bit preoccupied. We felt like some personal issue happened before we arrived. The room and bath are small but comfortable. I was surprised that there were no usb plugs in the room. We decided to go to the Heidout at the end of the street for dinner and back to the hotel bar for a nightcap. The drinks were good and reasonable but again, just didn’t feel welcomed. "

"We had a wonderful stay for an ice fishing weekend. The house is beautiful with ample room for everyone. Large kitchen made meals easy and the huge dining room table was perfect to all gather around. There are fun games and puzzles available, ( challenge for the next guests…we did the NYC puzzle in 1 hour, 2 minutes). Our host, Miranda, communicated excellently! Top notch!"

"The lodge is a wonderful place to get away to birch trees and smell off clean pine air. Our lake view was amazing. The leaves were just beginning to show the onset of fall with few hues of red and orange. We took many walks around the property enjoying the woods and lake. The resort was quiet but people hanging out at the beach or fisherman taking their boats early in the morning. The pool and spa were used a few times. It should open early. The kitchen and dining were stocked to meet our needs....
