"Property was beyond what was expected. Beautiful location, extremely clean and comfortable, excellent communication by owner…. I can’t say enough about the entire stay. Wildlife viewing at cabin with deer almost everywhere on property that visited us up close. Dock is private and was a trustworthy tie off for my boat with power available. Chased musky for the entire stay. Made contact with many and put one in the boat (safely released). Very familiar with the area but the owner has materials provided in the cabin with area and lake details for those new to the chain or area. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for the memorable experience!"

"I am disappointed by this rental process. I’ve enjoyed prior rentals that are Hosted by the Owner...as in the vrBO title. Vacasa is a management company, and they unfortunately knew nothing about the property except what was described on the site, and some of that was inaccurate. They couldn’t tell me what levels the bedrooms and bathrooms were on, or if any had en-suite bathrooms. They are not prompt responding to messaging, if they respond at all. Hours on the phone didn’t get me help or simple information. The online link to the rental agreement didn't work when I originally booked the property, so I included a message on the booking requesting a copy to review before the downpayment was put through. I was immediately charged for the VRBO share and the Vacasa charge was close behind. I never received a response to my message. VRBO was not able to help and referred me back to the host, Vacasa. After finally reaching Vacasa by phone I was told I had already signed the agreement I never saw, and I should log into their site to see the document linked to my reservation number. I have never had such poor customer service, especially when we encountered an issue during our stay! When the stove fuse blew while making supper and the box was in a locked room, the local person was so slow responding that I called Vacasa. We were told we'd have to wait until morning for maintenance. I will never rent another property that is "hosted by Vacasa"!"

"Great house for a large family vacation up north on a lake. Everyone had their own space but under one roof. The kitchen was amazing and had all utensils we needed. Bring your own seasonings and sharp knives. Plenty of fridge and freezer space. Had a great time cruising the chain of lakes on our pontoon (not included in rental, we brought our own.)"
