Steps from the lake!
Very cute cabin that is literally steps from the lake. We loved the tree lined drive to get to the cabin! Beauty abounds for walking and hiking, boating, or just sitting on the deck. The cabin had plenty of room for my husband and I and could easily sleep more in the extra bedrooms. Also it only takes roughly 15-20 minutes to get to town.

Great location and amazing views!
Jenneane was very accommodating and the cabin was as advertised. We rented a boat for the week and the docks provided easy access for the family. Started catching fish from the dock within 10 minutes! Campfires every night, Weber grill provided allowed us to cook up dinner or a quick ride to eagle river or st Germaine to eat out.

Another great week on the lake
Had a wonderful and relaxing week. Cabin was all set and clean on arrival. The view of Dam Lake from the deck is incredible, had views of eagles flying across the bay all week. Jenneane is so great to have as a host as she will be right there to answer any questions we may have. Will continue to be back for our summer vacation week on the lake.

Lovely stay on a lovely bay
Our hostess greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. The bay was nice an quiet and was visited by eagles, loons and beavers. We had a very nice week with good weather. The wifi is not strong enough if you need to work during you stay, but is fine if you need to check the weather and such. It was a little closer to neighbors than expected. The view and porch were wonderful.

Classic Cabin
We had a very nice stay. The location of the property is in a little bay that reduced overall water traffic at the dock - which was okay for us. It was very easy out of the bay for water skiing/ tubing. This also made a quite area for tootling paddle boards over towards the loons and the eagles nest, or even paddling over to Pitlick's on Sand Lake. Our side of the Duplex has a sweet little deck for almost all day sun. The cabin is small but comfy. The bunk room has little ventilation so it got really warm and stuffy at night. There is a fan, but wouldn't hurt to bring another. We had a couple of overcast and rainy days - and with no washer or dryer, made for some soggy towels. When you bring all the beach towels and bath towels; it's an inconvenience without (even just a dryer would have been great). But the sun came Thursday and we had towels hanging all over that deck! Our host was very kind and attentive. Communication was easy and pleasant. We had a nice stay!

Great Stay for a nice weekend in Fall!
Wife and I had a great stay! House worked out great for just the two of us. House was pretty dated but everything worked as it should have. Kitchen was stocked with utensils and pots/pans, we did have to go to grocery for cooking oil and seasonings as there was nothing in the house. Also don't forget to bring both shower/bath towels and hand towels as the house does not have! As for the outside of the house, the neighboring houses are pretty close together but was still very peaceful. The dock worked great for our Kayaks we brought! We were able to tie up and keep at the dock during our stay for easy access to the lake. All in all it was a great cabin!

Autumn at Dam Lake
Loved the cottage with an open concept livingroom and kitchen…Two of the five of us use walkers and were able to ambulate without obstruction. Having three bedrooms and two full baths is also a bonus with five adults. The deck has great views of the lake and we observed eagles and loons. There is a fire pit (bring your own wood), a charcoal grill, and a large pier. We fished from the pier and rowed much of the lake and the sites were mesmerizing. The hostess was warm and very accommodating. The king bedroom and queen bedroom had great mattresses. The double beds mattresses are starting to “give way.” The two couches in the livingroom were very comfortable when cheering on a football game. The hill down to the lake is rather steep so had a couple of terraced stairways not accommodating walkers. We had a wonderful time at this cottage.

Very nice but a few things to be aware of.
Property was clean and comfortable. It is a duplex or townhouse style arrangement which we were not aware of when renting. So you are sharing the house with other renters next to you. The house is also in a series of homes/ cottages that are tightly squeezed in on a corner of the lake. Not much room for parking and if you have a boat trailer to park the lot is a bit precarious. All those things considered though, it was still as private and quiet as things could possibly be in that setting. Owner greeted us and is very friendly. Lake is beautiful and quiet with minimal property development for a chain of lakes. No towels, seasonings, saran wrap/aluminum foil, etc. So plan to bring your own for those things.
