"We picked the Melia for its Berlin location. It was a very pleasant stay in this Spanish property. Every employee was pleasant and helpful, the room was most comfortable (with wash cloths in Germany!) and we very much enjoyed the hotel. The only downside we experienced was the Tapas restaurant. We visited twice. While they were open and had other customers, they seemed surprised to see us, needing to check before they could say they were open and serving food. The menu was confusing (we're well-traveled Americans) and we were unsure of what we were ordering (quantity? it's a sandwich?). There are better restaurants in the area."

"The room was very large, top notch. High ceiling. Coffee machine was Nespresso, excellent. Huge bed. Many comfy pillows, important for us as we arrived transatlantic and had to catch up on sleep. Bathroom was large and superb. Shower had rain head and hose spritzer - great. Shower large enough for two ;) Separate lighted mirror for makeup/shaving. Large TV, with multiple language stations. Strange but comfy lounge chair. Location next to main train station ideal for an early getaway. Yummy cucumber water in lobby. Staff very pleasant."

"Excellent hotel, great value for money and in a good location near central Berlin and 3 mins to the airport train and underground station. Loved the pool which we used most mornings. Rooms very comfortable with good beds and bathroom. Extremely quiet too so great sleep quality. Staff very helpful too! We had a great stay so I highly recommend."
