"I was only in Dublin for a very brief stay, and chose the Jacobs Inn because of its proximity to public transport and multiple options for dead-of-night airport rides. I didn’t get the chance to really interact or hang out with anyone because I was only in Dublin for ~34 hours (half of which being sleep), but the location seemed to draw a great mix of folks from all over. "It was a 15 minute walk from the nearest LUAS stop, which is the only mode of transportation to my workplace. Apart from that, everything else met my expectations "

"Good hostel. Each bed has plugs, light and a ledge which was nice to use. No curtains. Downfall would be no communal showers so although there was a shower in the room you might have to wait for others in the room. There were two additional toilets downstairs. Kitchen was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Walkable to almost everything. Upstairs rooms are probably quieter at night."

"Excellent stay at the Leevin Hostel. Just stayed the one night, but the facilities there (kitchen, communal rooms, garden etc) are fantastic, so could have easily stayed longer. The venue is clean and well lit. The hallways are quirky, like an old country mansion which I quite liked. Staff are incredibly patient and helpful. Would highly recommend."

"Very convenient for exploring Dublin. Get what you expect from a hostel, 24/7 front desk which is good. Only small issue is rooms at the rear of the hostel are a bit of a trek to get to and back onto a nightclub, fine if you're in the club until closing which we ended up doing both nights."

"This was a good choice for a 1 night stay. If staying several nights in Dublin, I would probably go elsewhere. The location was very good: a short walk to the Liffey River and touristy section of Dublin. The immediate Area of LIVStudent Dublin was less touristy and had some good pubs (Cobblestones has good live music, Walsh's Pub had great atmosphere, bartenders, and friendly locals) and restaurants (Lavanda, Wuff). "I can not say enough how fantastic this accommodation / location / staff were. Lisa was amazing with helping me sort issues with booking through Expedia (i will definitely book direct with them next time, but thank you Lisa, only for you i would have been lost. Simon the manager, what can i say, the customer service, helpfulness, kindness was second to none. Really really appreciate how you looked after us. Thank you so much. Fantastic service all round, highly recommend and will be returning....

Excellent!! Would stay again 100%

"Had a great experience from checking in until leaving! Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Room has all of the amenities you would need for a trip more than a few days (full kitchen with utensils, free coffee, tea, smart TV etc.) Bathroom was lovely although a tiny bit small. When we ran out of room supplies, reception were quick to give us more, they helped us sort out how to dispose of broken luggage and also stored our bags for free after checkout before we had to set off to the airport. I would say the only downside was that we booked an upgrade for a double studio with double sofa bed. The beds were set up as twin beds and the sofa bed is actually just two singles with a large gap inbetween. We shoved the twins together and thankfully the double sofa bed was for one person so they just slept on a single although they said it wasn't particularly comfy. It's SO close to the centre of the city and very secure (have to scan your door key to access lifts to rooms, front doors locked late at night etc.) Overall would definitely stay here again when visiting Dublin in future!"

"Absolutely lovely hotel. We had a free upgrade to a lovely spacious room. One of the reception staff was a bit grumpy but every other member of staff was cheerful and helpful. This hotel is in such a good location to explore Dublin. Breakfast was good too. Thanks for a great stay. "
