"The property is fairly remote, which, to me, is especially nice! It was very welcoming and cozy. Maurine is a wonderful hostess meeting our needs and offering horse rides for my two grandkids. I was here for my dad's funeral. So, all the animals and comfort of the home were very nice. I loved our stay and would definitely recommend this beautiful place. "

"This was an excellent location to host friends. We used the Acorn for a space to get ready for our wedding. We were able to have the wedding party stay with us without feeling on top of each other. There was enough space for the guys to get ready downstairs while we got ready with hair and makeup upstairs. The Acorn was great for pre ceremony photos too. While it is an older home, it was clean and had everything we needed. I was nervous about getting the check in information but received it the morning of check in, so I was worried for nothing. Good communication from the rental group."

"The main reason for our nine nights away was to have a quiet place to sleep and rest while enjoying time with our friends in Rochester, Michigan. It was perfect!
