"The property is fairly remote, which, to me, is especially nice! It was very welcoming and cozy. Maurine is a wonderful hostess meeting our needs and offering horse rides for my two grandkids. I was here for my dad's funeral. So, all the animals and comfort of the home were very nice. I loved our stay and would definitely recommend this beautiful place. "

"This was an excellent location to host friends. We used the Acorn for a space to get ready for our wedding. We were able to have the wedding party stay with us without feeling on top of each other. There was enough space for the guys to get ready downstairs while we got ready with hair and makeup upstairs. The Acorn was great for pre ceremony photos too. "My husband and I came out to Marlette to celebrate our Grandson's 2nd birthday. We were thrilled to find this beautiful property so close to our daughter and son in laws home! The location is close to the main road but once you pull down the road it is very quiet and secluded. The house was very clean, nicely decorated...my favorite spot was watching the deer from the sunroom. Our only regret was our trip was very quick, hopefully next time we can stay longer. This was one of the nicest VRBO's...
